Yash Ambani (Sanjay Dutt) and Raj Ambani (Akshaye Khanna) are childhood friends and small time crooks. Raj contemplates changing tracks and leaving the world of crime. Yash on the other hand always manages to do something which closes all doors for Raj to change his life. Their latest bank robbery does just that. Zandulal (Paresh Rawal), the bank manager, is accused as an accomplice of Yash and Raj. He begs the Bank Chairman for time to look for the two and prove his innocence. In the meanwhile, Raj falls in love with Sanjana (Kangna Ranaut), who is the younger sister of Kajal (Sushmita Sen), the daughter of the Comissioner of Police (Shakti Kapoor) and the wife of Arjun Singh (Anil Kapoor, a cop). Yash helps Raj in his love for Sanjana by taking his marriage proposal to the Commissioner s house and fixing up a date for their engagement. Arjun knows Raj is a con man, but cannot help as Raj soon blackmails Arjun too. Meanwhile, Zandulal learns of this treachery by accident, and introduces himself as Raj s uncle in order to take advantage of the situation. He tells Raj and Yash to return his money or he shall expose both of them. Cornered, Raj and Yash agree to do one last robbery to raise the money for Zandulal. However, in a comedy of errors, a white collared mafia boss gets killed during this robbery and the diamonds which were smuggled by him are now missing. The trio of Yash, Raj & Zandulal are mistakenly accused of the murder and land up in jail. Who did the murder? Where are the diamonds? Will Yash, Raj and Zandulal be able to prove their innocence?
